Swiss Ambassador Congratulates Vice President Opoku-Agyemang

Accra, Ghana - 15 Jan, 2025 - Ghana's Vice President, Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has held talks with Switzerland's Ambassador to Ghana, Simone Giger, aimed at bolstering bilateral relations between the two nations.

The meeting, held at the Vice President's office, focused on areas of mutual interest, including women's economic empowerment and job creation.

Ambassador Giger congratulated Vice President Opoku-Agyemang on her role, and reaffirmed Switzerland's commitment to supporting Ghana's development agenda.

The two leaders also discussed ways to deepen economic cooperation between Ghana and Switzerland, with a focus on trade and investment.

Switzerland has been a key partner for Ghana, with several Swiss companies operating in the country. The two nations have also collaborated on various development projects, including climate change mitigation and sustainable agriculture.
