Sunon Asogli Power Plant Resumes Operations
Ghana's energy landscape has received a significant boost with the resumption of operations at the 560MW Sunon Asogli Power Plant.
The plant, which was shut down in October 2024 due to financial constraints, has been given a new lease on life thanks to the intervention of the country's Finance and Energy Ministers.
In a statement, Sunon Asogli Power expressed confidence that a win-win solution would be achieved, ensuring the stability and reliability of Ghana's energy.
The company also commended Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his role in ensuring the payment.
