Accra, Ghana – 5 August, 2025 – The Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) has confirmed the seizure of a 2019 Lamborghini Urus from musician Shatta Wale in June. The vehicle was surrendered by Shatta Wale and is currently in EOCO's custody, following a request from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the US Department of Justice.

The Lamborghini which was seized at Trassaco Valley in Accra is allegedly linked to convicted fraudster Nana Kwabena Amuah. The seizure is part of a larger investigation into international crime and asset forfeiture.

Shatta Wale has been active on social media, recently announcing the purchase of a brand-new purple Lamborghini Urus. This comes after reports surfaced that his previous yellow Lamborghini was allegedly confiscated.

Shatta Wale has faced scrutiny over his source of wealth, particularly following his association with Kofi Boat, who was arrested in a joint operation between Interpol and the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in June 2025.
