Sam George Holds Talks with GIBA to address Industry Concerns

Accra, Ghana - 26 Feb, 2025 - Ghana's Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Hon. Samuel Nartey George, has met with the management of the Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association (GIBA) to discuss key issues affecting the broadcasting sector.
The meeting, held oon Wednesday Feb 26, was aimed at strengthening collaboration between the ministry and the association, and addressing pressing concerns in the industry.
GIBA officials congratulated the Minister on his appointment and expressed their eagerness to work closely with the ministry to enhance the quality of broadcasting in Ghana.
The discussions covered a range of critical topics, including digital migration, the future of broadcasting bill, compliance, content piracy, licensing, and the financial sustainability of the industry.
The Minister emphasized his commitment to maintaining a strong partnership with GIBA and ensuring compliance within the broadcasting space.
