President DEBY ITNO of Chad Jets in for 29th FESPACO in Ouagadougou

Ouagadougou Burkina Faso - 21 Feb, 2025 -The President of the Republic of Chad, Marshal Mahamat Idriss DEBY ITNO, arrived this afternoon, in Ouagadougou.

He was received at the Ouagadougou International Airport by the President of Faso, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim TRAORÉ.

After the performance of the national anthems of the two countries and military honors, the two Presidents had a one-on-one at the airport hall of honor.

Marshal Mahamat Idriss DEBY ITNO, is present in the capital Burkinabe to take part in the opening ceremony of the 29th edition of the Pan-African Festival of Cinema and Television of Ouagadougou (FESPACO), scheduled this Saturday and the Republic of Chad is the guest of honor.

During his visit, the Chadian President and his Burkinabe counterpart will also talk about the cooperation relations between Burkina Faso and Chad.

The visit strengthens relations between the two states, thereby strengthening the ties of friendship between the two peoples.
