PHOTO STORY - Vice President Leads Condolence Visits to Families of Military Helicopter Crash Victims

Accra ,Ghana ,August 19,2025 - In a tender display of solidarity and compassion, Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, representing President John Dramani Mahama, embarked on the condolence visits to the families of five victims of the tragic August 6 military helicopter crash. The visits, which took place at the homes of the bereaved families aimed to offer emotional support and assure the families of the government's continued commitment to their well-being.

These visits followed a state funeral held last Friday, honoring the victims of the tragic helicopter crash that claimed eight lives, including two ministers and three military personnel which occurred in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
