ORAL Team Receives Damning Dossier on National Service Scandal
Ghana's Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team has taken a significant step in its quest to tackle corruption, receiving a damning dossier on the National Service ghost names scandal. The explosive report, compiled by The Fourth Estate and the Media Foundation for West Africa, exposes a staggering GHS500 million loss to the state.
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, chairman of the ORAL team, has praised the organizations behind the report for their patriotism, vowing to "reset Ghana and recover all loot."
The team, comprising experts like former Auditor-General Daniel Domelevo and retired Police Commissioner COP (Rtd.) Nathaniel Kofi Boakye, Lawyer Martin Kpebu and Investigative Journalist, Raymond Archer aims to restore trust in government institutions and ensure public resources are utilized effectively.
The ORAL team's investigation into the ghost names scandal is part of a broader initiative to combat corruption and enhance transparency within Ghana's public sector.
