NPP Risks Downfall Without Member Support, Hackman Sounds Alarm
Accra, Ghana – 5 August, 2025 –
Owusu-Agyemang urged party members to emulate the sacrifices of the UGCC's founding fathers, including Joseph Boakye Danquah and George Alfred Paa Grant, and rededicate themselves to rebuilding the party and advancing national development. He called for collective action to build a nation grounded in the vision of the UGCC's founders.
The NPP elder stressed the importance of leaving behind a lasting legacy for future generations, stating that the party's actions will be judged by the impact they have on the country's progress. He emphasized that the party's legacy should be one of freedom, integrity, and nation-building.
Addressing the youth, Owusu-Agyemang urged them to protect liberty, defend integrity, and build economies that uplift the populace. He emphasized that freedom is not a relic of the past but a responsibility that requires active engagement and dedication.
The panel discussion, organized by the Patriotic Institute in collaboration with the NPP's National Council of Elders, provided an opportunity for reflection on the party's ideals and principles. The event highlighted the importance of staying true to the party's founding values and working towards a common goal of national development.
