Ghana's National Democratic Congress (NDC) has pledged to harness its recent election victory as a catalyst for driving the nation towards progress and prosperity.

At a press briefing held at the party’s headquarters on Sunday, December 8, the party's General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, reaffirmed the NDC's commitment to responsible governance, emphasizing the party's determination to utilize its newly acquired mandate for the betterment of Ghana.

The NDC has expressed confidence in its election victory, describing it as decisive and undeniable. The party has secured a significant majority, which it intends to wield responsibly to foster progress and development.

Meanwhile, the NDC has urged the Electoral Commission (EC) to expedite the declaration of results, stressing the need for transparency and accountability in the electoral process.

“We have secured a very significant majority and a majority that we aim to use responsibly and for the progress of the people of Ghana.

“The process as far as the presidential result is also concerned, we will urge the chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa and her team to make sure the declaration is not unduly delayed because we know for a fact that nothing can be done about it because it is already in the bag,'' he added.
