Mpox Cases in Ghana Reach 108 with 10 New Infections Reported
Accra, Ghana - 32 June, 2025 - The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed 10 new cases of Mpox, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 108.
According to the latest update, released on June 20, 2025, none of the newly confirmed patients have been hospitalized, and no deaths have been reported.
The affected individuals are experiencing common symptoms such as fever, skin rashes, and swollen lymph nodes, and are being managed under outpatient care.
The GHS, in an advisory, has assured that all necessary measures are being taken to limit the spread of the disease, including contact tracing and community surveillance in affected areas.
Health authorities have cautioned individuals to stay alert and observe basic hygiene practices, such as keeping hands clean and avoiding close physical contact.
