Make Ghana your production hub -Kufuor appeal to American businesses and investors
Accra, Ghana - Nov 18, 2024 - Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has issued a call to action to American businesses and investors, highlighting Ghana's vast potential for mutually beneficial economic partnerships.
According to him, Ghana's strategic location and abundant natural resources make it an ideal hub for building a sustainable economy.
Speaking at the American Chamber of Commerce Ghana's 35th Anniversary Thanksgiving Dinner and Awards Night, Kufuor emphasized Ghana's unique advantages.
“The time has come when the US, if it wants to champion global advancement, should look at places like Ghana. It is a true hub, naturally. We sit right on the intersection of the equator and the meridian.
“In terms of travelling, within 6 hours you are in major New York, 7 hours you are in the Middle East…and we have the human and the natural resources. So, please, I am appealing to all of you to make Ghana the hub in partnership with you guys to produce,” he stated.
