Mahama's 'Thank You' Tour Kicks Off in Volta Region on Jan 24

Accra, Ghana - 22 Jan, 2025 - Ghana's President, John Dramani Mahama, is set to embark on a nationwide tour to express his gratitude to Ghanaians for their support during the 2024 general elections.

The tour, which begins on Friday, January 24, in the Volta Region, aims to deepen the connection between the President and the citizens of Ghana.

According to a statement signed by the Presidential Spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, a grand durbar is planned in the Volta Region, bringing together community leaders, chiefs, queen mothers, and other stakeholders. The event is expected to showcase the region's diversity and collective strength, while celebrating the critical role citizens have played in Ghana's democratic journey.

The tour is expected to take the President to various regions across the country, where he will engage with citizens, listen to their concerns, and share his vision for Ghana's future. The Presidency has invited all Ghanaians to participate in the tour with pride and enthusiasm, as the nation comes together to celebrate its democratic progress.
