Chief of Staff Nullifies Public Sector Appointments Made After December 7
Accra, Ghana - 11 Feb, 2025 - Ghana's Chief of Staff Julius Debrah has nullified all appointments and recruitments made to the Public Service after December 7, 2024.
In a confidential letter circulated to heads of government institutions, Debrah instructed them to comply with the directive, stating that all appointments made after December 7, 2024, are deemed not to be in compliance with established good governance practices and principles.
As a result, all Heads of Government Institutions have been requested to take necessary steps to annul such appointments or recruitments.
