VP Opoku-Agyemang has Fully Recovered And Will Resume Duties Next Week - Mahama

Dodowa, Ghana - 17 May, 2025 - Ghana's Vice President, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, is expected to return to the country by the end of next week after receiving medical care in the United Kingdom according to President John Dramani Mahama, 

the Vice President has fully recovered from a brief illness and will resume her duties upon her return.

Speaking at a durbar in Dodowa on Friday, May 16, President Mahama shared an update on the Vice President's condition, saying he had spoken to her on Thursday, May 15.

According to the President Mahama, the Vice President has fully recovered from a brief illness and will resume her duties upon her return.

The President expressed optimism about her recovery, attributing it to God's grace.

The Vice President's return is expected to bring relief to her supporters and colleagues, who have been eagerly awaiting her comeback.
