Mahama Celebrates Mothers, Pays Visit to VP Opoku-Agyemang

Accra, Ghana - 11 May, 2025 -  President John Dramani Mahama paid a heartfelt visit to his Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, on Mother's Day, May 11. The visit comes as Professor Opoku-Agyemang recuperates from a recent illness.

He noted that Professor Opoku-Agyemang is expected to resume her official duties soon.

In a heartfelt Facebook post on May 11, President John Dramani Mahama extended warm Mother's Day greetings to mothers across Ghana, particularly highlighting his Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.

He wished them a Happy Mother's Day, acknowledging the significance of motherhood and expressing deep appreciation for the invaluable contributions mothers make to society.

“A special Mother’s Day greeting to my Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyeman, whom I had the pleasure of visiting earlier this morning.''

“To her and all Ghanaian mothers, I say Happy Mother’s Day,” he wrote.
