Mahama Applauds Archbishop Agyinasare's Commitment to Truth and Integrity

Accra, Ghana - 05 May, 2025 - Ghana's President John Dramani Mahama has paid tribute to Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, founder of Perez Chapel International, for his unwavering courage in speaking truth to power during the country's most challenging moments.

Speaking at the Supernatural Empowerment Summit 2025 in Accra, President Mahama described the Archbishop as a "lone voice" who stood firm in the face of adversity, drawing applause from a packed auditorium of thousands.

The President praised Archbishop Agyinasare's unapologetic sermons on governance and morality, saying that not many people have the courage to tell the truth at all times.

Presdident Mahama acknowledged that the Archbishop faced challenges for his outspokenness but commended his commitment to speaking truth to power.

"The good thing about the Archbishop is that I believe the work of a man of God is not only to preach the word. When God gives you a prophetic gift, you exercise it; if He gives you the gift of speaking in tongues, you exercise it. But most of all, what God expects from men of God is the courage to tell the truth at all times. And not many people have that courage. When times were tough in this country, he was a lone voice who stood out and had the courage to speak up.''

“I know what he went through because of that, but God will always protect His own,''

The Supernatural Empowerment Summit, which brought together high-profile figures from over 45 countries, including Dr. Satish Kumar, pastor of one of the world's largest churches, focused on spiritual empowerment for national transformation.

Archbishop Agyinasare's keynote sermon challenged believers to embrace spiritual empowerment and called on politicians to govern with wisdom and righteousness.

President Mahama, who attended the summit's climax service, said the Archbishop's message on "Managing the Anointing" resonated with him, particularly the emphasis on the importance of rest and spiritual renewal for leaders.

The summit concluded with a call to transform communities and a prayer for global peace and national unity, led by Archbishop Agyinasare.

The event also marked a significant milestone for Perez Chapel International, as the church inducted new leadership, including Rt. Rev. Raymond Kumah Acquah as Presiding Bishop and Rt. Rev. Dr. Selaise Agyinasare, the Archbishop's son, as Administrative Bishop.
