Veteran Broadcaster Godwin Avenorgbo is dead
Veteran broadcast journalist, Godwin Avenorgbo, better known as 'Big Godwin', has died.
He died on Monday, August 19, 2024, and the reason of death has not been revealed.
Prior to his death, the "Grandmaster," as he was affectionately known, was the Director of Communications for the Melcom Group of Companies.
Ghana Television (GTV) announced his death in a brief post on their Facebook page that read, "The ‘Grandmaster’ (Godwin Avenorgbor) bows out. May his gentle soul rest in peace.”
