Kwame Ntow Amoah Takes Reins as GNPC CEO
Accra, Ghana - 17 Feb, 2025 - Seasoned energy expert Kwame Ntow Amoah has been appointed to lead Ghana's state-owned oil company, Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), in a move expected to drive growth and success in the country's oil and gas industry.
Having held key leadership positions at GNPC, including Deputy Chief Executive, as well as serving as Advisor to the Minister of Energy/Director of Petroleum at the Ministry of Energy, Mr. Amoah brings with him a wealth of experience in the energy sector.
His appointment follows the reassignment of the previous CEO, Mr. Edward Abambire Bawa, to Ghana Oil Company (GOIL) as Managing Director and Group CEO.
