Interior Minister Commissions New GIS Office Complex in Mampong
Mampong, Ashanti Region, Ghana - 13 April, 2025 - Ghana's Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak, has commissioned a newly constructed one-storey office complex and handed over a 4x4 cross-country pick-up vehicle to the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) Mampong Sector Command in the Ashanti Region.
The facilities were donated by Mr. Yaw Amponsah Marfo, CEO of VIP Transport Services, in a gesture aimed at enhancing the operational capabilities of the GIS.
Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, attended the event, representing the region's leadership.
This development is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the operational capabilities of security agencies in Ghana.
