High Court Orders Public Summons for Annor Dompreh, Adjourns Case to March 14
Frank Annoh-Dompreh is MP for Nsawam Adoagyiri

Koforidua, Eastern Region, Ghana - 21 Feb, 2025 - A Koforidua High Court has granted an order for substituted service on Frank Annor Dompreh, the Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri.

This decision was made after several failed attempts to serve him with a writ of summons.

The court order, issued by Presiding Judge Justice George Krofa Addae, directs that the summons be served through various public platforms, including:

- Courts: Nsawam Adoagyiri High Court, Magistrate Court, and Circuit Court
- Radio: Community radio station Fawe FM, which will air announcements three times
- Information Centers: Five information centers in the constituency will broadcast the notice
- Public Notice Boards: Copies will be posted on three major public notice boards
- Party Office: The New Patriotic Party's constituency office
- Residence: Annor Dompreh's official residence

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Fummey Selorm Philibert, has filed a lawsuit challenging the Electoral Commission's declaration of Frank Annor Dompreh as the winner of the parliamentary seat.

Philibert and his lawyers are essentially contesting the results, claiming that the Electoral Commission's declaration was incorrect.

The case has been adjourned to March 14, 2025.
