NDC projected to win 150 Seats in Ghana's Next Parliament in new Global InfoAnalytics poll
Ghana's National Democratic Congress (NDC) is poised to make significant gains in the country's upcoming parliamentary elections, according to a recent report by Global InfoAnalytics.
The analysis suggests that the NDC will secure a majority in the next parliament, winning 150 seats, while the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is expected to claim 99 seats.
In the presidential race, the NDC's flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, is forecasted to emerge victorious, securing 52.2% of the vote. His closest rival, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the NPP, is projected to garner 41.4% of the popular vote.
The report highlights shifting political dynamics and heightened competition in both parliamentary and presidential contests as the election approaches. With 29 constituencies classified as too close to call, intense competition is expected in these areas.
