Ghana's Ambassador to Brazil Joins Global Experts to Address Food Security and Climate Change

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - Ghana's Ambassador to Brazil H.E. Nii Amasah Namoale, participated in the Rio+AGRO 2025 forum, showcasing Ghana's commitment to sustainable agro-environmental development and climate change mitigation.

In a conversation with Lead News Online,Ambassador Namoale also emphasized that the participation of Ghana's delegation from the embassy highlights the country's efforts to strengthen bilateral ties with Brazil aim at exploring opportunities for cooperation in areas such as agriculture, science, and technology and for Ghana to deepen its relationship with other countries in the region.

He stressed on Ghana's willingness and resolve to engage with the global community on issues related to climate change, sustainable agriculture, and food security.

Rio+AGRO 2025 brought together global leaders for sustainable agribusiness in a landmark gathering. The event, which took place from October 1, to 3 ,2025, at the Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro, featured in-depth discussions on critical topics such as tropical agriculture, advanced technologies, climate mitigation, food and water security, carbon markets, and financing for sustainable production.

The forum fostered collaboration and knowledge-sharing among participants, with a focus on promoting sustainable practices. Attendees engaged in plenary sessions, lectures, roundtables, exhibitions, and networking events with government leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and experts.
