CORRUPTION EXPOSED: List of Lavish Properties Allegedly Bought with Stolen Funds by Ex-NSB Boss Adu-Boahene and Wife

Accra, Ghana - 24 March, 2025 - A high-profile corruption investigation has rocked Ghana with the country's Attorney General, Dr. Dominic Ayine, revealing a trail of illicitly acquired assets linked to Kwabena Adu-Boahene, the former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB).
Accrording to Dr Ayine, the probe has uncovered a staggering portfolio of properties, both locally and abroad, allegedly purchased with misappropriated funds.
At the heart of the scandal lies Adu-Boahene's suspected misuse of power during his tenure as NSB Director.
Investigators have identified multiple properties in Accra's upscale Mayfair Estates, including a $1 million estate on Stream Part Drive, as well as several other properties on Edith Avenue, with deposits ranging from $97,815 to $500,000.
Furthermore, Adu-Boahene's ownership of Vertex Properties, a company tied to the alleged embezzlement, has been uncovered.
The company reportedly owns 27 houses in Oyarifa, each valued at $295,000. The investigation has also tracked two additional properties in London, although details remain scarce.
Dr. Ayine emphasized at a press briefing on March 24, the significant correlation between the suspect's alleged misconduct and the substantial financial outlay for these acquisitions.
“The proceeds from the suspects’ activities were used to buy significant landed properties and other assets of considerable value both in Ghana and elsewhere,'' he stated.
According to him, the ongoing investigation aims to recover misappropriated funds and ensure accountability for any financial malpractices.
