Chairman Wontumi's Home Raided by Police, National Security Operatives

Kumasi, Ghana - 23 May, 2025 - Ghanaian authorities have launched a high-profile operation at the residence of Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

A combined team of police and National Security operatives arrived at his home to execute a search warrant, the details of which have sparked intense speculation.

According to the warrant, which was verified by Joy News, the authorities are empowered to conduct a thorough search of the premises. 

However, the exact motivations behind the search remain unclear, fueling rumors and concerns among party loyalists.

Chairman Wontumi's current location is unknown, and several senior NPP officials have rushed to the scene to assess the situation.
