Bank of Ghana to Commemorate 60 Years of Cedi

Accra, Ghana - 13 May, 2025 - The Bank of Ghana (BoG) is set to commemorate a significant milestone in the country's economic history – 60 years of the cedi as Ghana's official currency.
The celebration, which will begin on July 19, 2025, will highlight the cedi's pivotal role in shaping Ghana's economic journey and its evolution over the years.
