We're Not Here to Recount Struggles, But to Find Solutions and Grow - Mahama at National Economic Dialogue

Accra, Ghana - 03 March, 2025 - President John Dramani Mahama has launched an urgent call to action, urging Ghanaians to rally behind a bold new economic plan aimed at rescuing the country's struggling economy.

In a keynote address at the National Economic Dialogue in Accra, President Mahama emphasized the need for collective action to drive Ghana's economy towards recovery and sustainable growth. The president's call to action is part of his administration's "Reset Agenda," a comprehensive economic transformation plan designed to restore stability, promote inclusive development, and build a resilient Ghanaian economy.

The National Economic Dialogue brings together top economic experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to find practical solutions to the country's economic challenges and establish a progressive path for Ghana's financial future.

With Ghana's economy facing significant challenges, President Mahama stressed the urgency of the moment, urging all stakeholders to unite in addressing the nation's economic woes.

“We are not here to recount our struggles nor are we here to resign ourselves to economic stagnation. We are here to seek solutions that will put us on a path of growth trajectory and to ensure that we build an economy that works for every Ghanaian,” he stated.

“For me, this is not just another policy discussion, it is an urgent call to action. A crucial moment for us, as stakeholders, to purpose and resolve the challenges that face us,” he added.
