Accra, Ghana - 09 May, 2025 - Ghana's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has established a Ministerial Advisory Board to improve its service delivery through engagement with key stakeholders.

Chaired by Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the board comprises prominent figures, including Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, Trade Minister Elizabeth Ofosu Adjare, and former Foreign Affairs Minister Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi.

The board's primary objective is to navigate the complexities of global diplomacy and provide guidance on policy formulation. Minister Ablakwa emphasized the importance of the board's work, stating that its perspectives will serve as a compass in addressing the evolving challenges in global politics.

In addition to the advisory board, Minister Ablakwa also inaugurated the first-ever Governing Council for the Foreign Service Institute.

The council, comprising diplomats and private sector experts, aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and diplomatic practice.
