Namibian Delegation Visits Ghana's NLA for Operational Insights

Accra, Ghana - 08 Feb, 2025 - Dr. Johnaness Shimaneni, CEO of the Lotteries Board of Namibia, recently visited the National Lottery Authority (NLA) in Ghana to explore potential collaborations and gain insights into the Authority's operations.
Accompanied by Ms. Jacqueline Hindjou from the Namibian High Commission, Dr. Shimaneni met with the NLA's Director-General, Mr. Mohammed Abdul-Salam, and the Authority's Executive Management team.
The visit aimed to leverage the NLA's expertise as a pioneer in the lottery industry within the subregion. The Namibian Lotteries Board, established recently, seeks to learn from the NLA's operational framework and corporate governance principles.
Mr. Abdul-Salam expressed his enthusiasm for hosting the Namibian delegation and reiterated the NLA's commitment to supporting the establishment of the Namibian lottery board. The NLA team provided a comprehensive presentation, engaging in detailed discussions with the visitors.
