NDC will prioritize Northern Region's Development - Prof. Opoku-Agyemang
Tamale, Ghana - Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang, running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has assured the people of the Northern Region that the party will prioritize their development needs if elected.
At the launch of Hon. Haruna Iddrisu's parliamentary campaign in Tamale, Opoku-Agyemang highlighted the NDC's plans to create jobs through initiatives like the 24-Hour Economy and National Apprenticeship Programme.
She also touted the party's past achievements in the region, including the establishment of the University for Development Studies and Tamale International Airport.
Opoku-Agyemang pledged to address the concerns of Muslim communities, including the high cost of Hajj and expanding educational infrastructure.
The event saw Opoku-Agyemang rallying support for Hon. Iddrisu and flagbearer Mr. John Mahama, emphasizing the NDC's commitment to "resetting" the country and creating jobs.
