NDC to launch 2024 Manifesto today
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is due to launch its 2024 manifesto today, Saturday, August 24. The event will be held at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Auditorium at the University of Education, Winneba, in the Central Region.
According to a statement signed and published by the party's National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, the event, set for 12 noon, will include former President John Dramani Mahama, the NDC's flagbearer, as the Special Guest, as well as his running mate, Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
Members of the National Executive Committee, the Council of Elders, NDC Members of Parliament, Parliamentary Candidates, and distinguished guests from the diplomatic corps, clergy, traditional authorities, civil society organizations, academia, labor organizations, and creative arts, among others, would also be present.
Former President and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, believes the party's 2024 manifesto unveiling is the first step toward liberating the country from long-standing challenges.
In his message, Mr. Mahama said, “Tomorrow, we take the first step towards resetting our dear nation Ghana. We face challenges that have held us back for too long, but now it's time to build the Ghana we all want together. Join me from Winneba in the Central region as I unveil a vision for our future that will bring justice, jobs, and prosperity to every corner of our beloved nation, Ghana. Tomorrow, we begin the journey together.”
The manifesto launch is under the theme 'Change To Reset Ghana'.
