NDC pledges to Invest $10bn in job creation– Agbodza
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has unveiled an ambitious US$10 billion accelerated infrastructure plan, aimed at creating jobs and transforming Ghana's economy, if elected in the 2024 general elections.
Speaking at the party's press briefing on its 2024 Manifesto, Minority Chief Whip and Adaklu MP, Governs Kwame Agbodza, announced that the plan will prioritize the completion of unfinished and abandoned government infrastructure projects across all sectors.
The NDC's accelerated infrastructure plan seeks to drive job creation, revamp the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund (GIIF), and undertake strategic self-financing projects. Agbodza emphasized that a vote for the NDC's flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, would ensure transformational infrastructure development, delivering efficient transportation, cutting-edge ICT connectivity, and improved social services.
“To conclude, fellow citizens, a vote for President Mahama is a vote for transformational infrastructure with enhanced value for money that will deliver efficient transportation, cutting-edge ICT connectivity platforms and improved social services delivery,”Kwame Agbodza said.
The NDC's plan aims to bring significant economic growth, enhance value for money, and create employment opportunities for Ghanaians. With this announcement, the NDC has laid out its vision for Ghana's infrastructure development, promising a transformative agenda if elected in 2024.
