Jubilee House confirms Secretary's illness, dispels rumors, 'Bediatuo is in stable condition'
Accra, Ghana - The Office of the President has issued an official statement addressing speculation surrounding the health of Nana Bediatuo Asante, Secretary to President Akufo-Addo.
Mr. Asante fell ill during an official trip to the United States.
After attending the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York as part of President Akufo-Addo's delegation, Asante was hospitalized for treatment, according to an official statement signed by Eugene Arhin, Director of Communications, who dsclosed that Asante is now in stable condition and responding well to medical care.
