Accra braces for 3-day protest against galamsey, detained activists from Oct 3 -5
Accra, Ghana - A three-day demonstration is set to take place in Accra from October 3 to 5, as activists demand the release of 53 anti-galamsey protesters detained by police last week.
The protest, organized under the slogans "FreeTheCitizens" and "SayNoToGalamsey," also aims to condemn illegal mining, a persistent environmental and social issue in Ghana.

The march will start from Legon Okponglo and proceed to the Black Star Square, passing through designated routes approved by the police, including:
