Gov't Settles WAEC Debt with GH¢50m Disbursement
Accra, Ghana - The government has fulfilled its financial obligations to the West African Examination Council (WAEC) with a GH¢50 million payment, settling a significant portion of its outstanding debt.
This latest disbursement brings the total amount paid to WAEC this year to GH¢97 million, following an earlier payment of GH¢47 million in June.
The government's prompt settlement of its debt ensures the smooth conduct of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
