GNFS Recovers Body of Teenager Who Drowned While Visiting Boyfriend in Tomefa
Tomefa, Ga South - 25 June, 2025 - Rescue officers from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) have retrieved the lifeless body of a young schoolgirl from a pool of water at Tomefa, in the Ga South Municipality. The body of Gloria Segoe, the teenager, was recovered on June 23, 2025, after an operation that began at 10:02 pm and concluded at 10:42 pm.
According to the GNFS, the circumstances surrounding the teenager's death are still unclear, but it is reported that she had travelled to the area to visit her boyfriend prior to the incident. The body has been handed over to the police, who have launched an investigation to determine the cause and circumstances of her death.
