Bawumia promises digital skills revolution to create 1 million jobs
Kpando, Volta Region, Ghana - October 23, 2024 - Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) flagbearer, has pledged to tackle Ghana's youth unemployment crisis head-on.
At a rally in Kpando, Bawumia outlined his vision to create one million jobs, empowering Ghana's youth with digital skills.
Bawumia's strategy prioritizes education-inclusive empowerment, providing opportunities regardless of educational background.
“All the youth, we need jobs. I am going to give one million youths digital skills in Ghana. Everybody, even if you are a school dropout, we can give you digital skills.
“You will stay in Kpando and work in America, in Germany, in Japan, in the UK, and in the US. Work right from here with your digital skills,'' he stated.
