Victoria Hardcastle Takes Helm as Acting CEO of Petroleum Commission

Accra, Ghana - 17 Jan, 2025 - Ghana's President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Victoria Emeafa Hardcastle as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Commission.

This decision, announced on January 17, was made in accordance with the country's constitution and the Petroleum Commission Act.

As the newly appointed head of the Petroleum Commission, Hardcastle's appointment is subject to consultation with the Public Services Commission and the advice of the Commission's Board. The President has reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the Commission operates effectively.

Hardcastle brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked as a Senior Partner and accomplished legal professional. Her expertise spans energy, corporate, and commercial law, with a strong background in investment, banking, and finance.
