Two Suspects Arrested for Threatening to Kill President Mahama and Spouse in Viral Video
Accra, Ghana – 13 August, 2025 – The Ghana Police Service has launched a full-scale investigation into a viral TikTok video that features an individual threatening the lives of President John Dramani Mahama and his wife, Lordina Mahama.
The police have already apprehended two suspects, Prince Ofori and Yayra Abiwu, who are currently assisting with the ongoing investigation.
According to a police statement, efforts are underway to identify and apprehend other individuals believed to be connected to the video. The Ghana Police Service is working diligently to ensure that all those involved in the incident are brought to justice.
The two arrested suspects are currently in police custody, helping investigators piece together the circumstances surrounding the viral video.
