SWAG Awards: Rose Yeboah Named Sports Personality of the Year
Accra, Ghana - 25 Jan, 2025 - Ghanaian high jumper Rose Amoanimaa Yeboah was the standout winner at the 49th Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Awards, held at the Accra International Conference Centre on Friday.
The 23-year-old athlete dominated the evening, claiming two of the night's top prizes - Female Athlete of the Year and Sports Personality of the Year.
Meanwhile, Abdul Aziz Issah, who plays for Barcelona's B team, also had a successful night, taking home the Prospect of the Year and Male Footballer of the Year awards.
