Police, Immigration, Judiciary Ranked Most Corrupt by Global InfoAnalytics

Accra, Ghana - 03 April, 2025 - Ghana's Police Service and Immigration Service have been ranked as the most corrupt institutions in the country, according to the first National Tracking Poll of 2025 by Global InfoAnalytics.
The poll, which assessed public perception of corruption across various sectors, placed the Police at the top with a score of 6.43, followed closely by the Immigration Service with a score of 5.86.
The Judiciary ranked third with a score of 5.78, reflecting concerns about corruption within the legal system.
The survey also revealed moderate corruption perceptions for the Electoral Commission (5.58), traditional leaders (5.51), and Parliament (5.47), while the Prison Service (5.43), Military (5.27), and Presidency (5.27) had relatively lower corruption scores.
The survey's findings have sparked concerns about the prevalence of corruption in Ghana's public institutions. Mussa Dankwah, Executive Director and Head of Research at Global InfoAnalytics, emphasized the need for urgent action to address corruption in these institutions.
The poll's results are based on a comprehensive assessment of public perception of corruption across various sectors.
The survey's findings are expected to inform policy decisions and initiatives aimed at combating corruption in Ghana.
