Nsawam-Adoagyiri Election Results in Limbo After NDC Secures Court Injunction

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has secured a court injunction to halt the re-collation of parliamentary results in the Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency, amidst allegations of discrepancies in the election results.
The Electoral Commission's (EC) efforts to resolve the contentious collation through a re-collation process have been put on hold. The process, which began on December 12, aimed to settle disputes in four constituencies in the Eastern Region: Suhum, Nsawam, Fanteakwa North, and Akwatia.
However, disagreements between the NDC and NPP led to confusion, causing the process to extend into a second day. The NDC raised concerns about discrepancies in the EC's original pink sheets, further adding to the confusion.
