Special Voting: NDC will get 65 percent in Greater Accra region - Ashie Moore
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is optimistic about its chances in Ghana's upcoming elections, with the party's Greater Accra Regional Chairman, Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore predicting a landslide win.
Moore's confidence stems from his observations during the Special Voting exercise, where he witnessed a peaceful and transparent process.
The NDC chairman believes this bodes well for his party's success, particularly in the Greater Accra region.
According to Moore, the NDC is poised to secure an impressive 65% of the total votes cast in the region.
Speaking to the press during a visit to one of the polling stateions at the ongoing special voting exercise, Moore stated this prediction is based on the party's strong showing in the Special Voting exercise, as well as positive feedback from security personnel and party agents.
“For where we stand as NDC Greater Accra, the process is peaceful and it is transparent. You can see the numbers coming in and we pray that this process will be repeated on December 7 because I could feel and smell the victory because we can see more of our party agents and we can see our party supporters around.
“We can see some party sympathisers, our executives, our election directors and our polling agents are also at the designated points. I have spoken to one or two security men and they assured us that we are making it and if this election is counted at the end of the poll, the NDC will get 65 percent in the Greater Accra region in this Special Voting.”
