Accra, Ghana - 10 June, 2025 - Ghana has recorded a significant increase in Mpox cases, with 34 new infections pushing the total number of confirmed cases to 79, according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

The latest surge has sparked concern among the public, but health authorities have assured citizens that the situation remains under control.

Currently, four patients are hospitalized under close observation. To combat the outbreak, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) has stepped up contact tracing efforts to identify potential contacts of infected individuals and prevent further spread.

Despite the rising case count, health officials are reassuring the public that the situation is under control and being closely monitored.

The GHS is taking proactive measures to prevent the disease from spreading further.
