Ministry of Health Slashes Application Fees for Health Training Institutions by 25%

Accra, Ghana - 15 April, 2025 - The Ministry of Health has announced a 25% reduction in application fees for Health Training Institutions in Ghana. Prospective students will now pay GHC 150, down from GHC 200, for application forms for the 2025/2026 academic year.
The sale of application forms will commence on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, and end on Thursday, June 19, 2025. Details regarding the application process will be published soon on the Ministry's online admission portal and individual institution websites.
This move aims to enhance access and affordability for students seeking admission to various health training institutions across the country, including nursing and midwifery colleges.
Over 60 institutions nationwide are expected to benefit from this initiative, including the College of Nursing and Midwifery in Koforidua, Offinso, and Ho, as well as other health training colleges such as the College of Health Sciences in Yendi and the College of Health and Well-being in Kintampo.
The Ministry of Health encourages prospective applicants to take note of the new application fee and the application period.
''The Ministry of Health wishes to inform the general public and all prospective applicants seeking admission into any of the Health Training Institutions in Ghana that the sale of application forms for the 2025/2026 academic year will officially commence on Tuesday 22nd April, 2025 and end on Thursday, 19th June 2025. Details will be published soon.
''The General Public and all Prospective Applicants must take note that the cost of Application Forms, which was Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHS 200.00), has now been reduced to One Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GHS 150.00),'' the statement read.
