Mahama Sets Up 19-Member Task Force to Implement 120-Day Social Contract

Accra, Ghana - 11 Feb, 2025 - President John Dramani Mahama has inaugurated a 19-member task force to oversee the implementation of his campaign promises within the first 120 days of his administration.
The task force, inaugurated at the Jubilee House on Tuesday, is chaired by Senior Presidential Advisor, Dr. Valerie Sawyerr and includes notable members such as Hon. Ato Forson, Minister for Finance, and Hon. Dominic Ayine, Attorney General.
President Mahama tasked the group with ensuring the fulfillment of his commitments, including the abolition of nuisance taxes such as the E-Levy and the Betting Tax.
