Mahama names Okudzeto Ablakwa Foreign Minister Designate, Omane Boamah for Defense, Kofi Adams heads to Sports

Accra, Ghana - 21 Jan, 2025 - President John Mahama has made key appointments to his cabinet, assigning crucial roles to experienced individuals. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, a seasoned politician and Member of Parliament for North Tongu, has been appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs Designate .

Ablakwa has an extensive background in politics, including his tenure as Deputy Minister for Education and Deputy Minister for Information.

Meanwhile, Kofi Adams has been appointed to head the Sports and Recreation Ministry. Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, a former Minister of Communications under Mahama's previous administration, has been appointed as the Defense Minister.
