I will choose 24 hour economy over National Cathedral, Kalybos reveals
Kalybos, a popular Ghanaian comic actor and staunch supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has made a surprising statement.
When asked to choose between the 24-hour economy policy proposed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the National Cathedral project by the NPP, during a "question and answer" session, Kalybos opted for the former.
During his appearance on the recent episode of Girls Aloud podcast, Kalybos explained that he believes in the 24-hour economy for now, citing that the National Cathedral was still under construction.
“Now the cathedral is not being built yet, so I can't factor if it's more important than the 24-hour economy policy. So let's not be political here, I will choose 24-hour economy," he said.
On the same podcast, Kalybos, has shared his candid thoughts on relationships, stating that dating for a long time doesn't necessarily guarantee marriage.
He revealed that he ended his five-year relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Frimpongmaa, before marrying his wife and being with her for that number of years didn’t necessarily mean that they had to make things official.
Kalybos recently opened up about his wife's reaction to the harsh comments they received on social media after tying the knot.
According to the actor, his wife is completely unfazed by the negativity, and she fully understands the nature of his career ¹.
“We sit and watch these harsh comments from social media and laugh about it. My wife is not bothered at all because she understands the kind of industry I'm in," he shared.
