Hearts of Oak Appoint Didi Dramani as New Head Coach

Accra, Ghana - 21 June, 2025 - Accra Hearts of Oak has appointed Mas-Ud Didi Dramani as its new head coach. The seasoned tactician has signed a two-year contract with the Phobians, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success.

Dramani's most notable achievement came during his tenure at Asante Kotoko, where he led the Porcupine Warriors to two league titles. His appointment is seen as a bold move by Hearts of Oak, which finished the 2024/25 season trophyless, placing fourth in the Ghana Premier League and bowing out of the MTN FA Cup in the round of 16.

The new coach's immediate challenge will be to prepare the team for the highly anticipated 2025 President's Cup match against Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium. Dramani's experience in Ghanaian football is extensive, having also coached the Black Galaxies and served as part of Ghana's technical team at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

After a decade away from the Ghana Premier League, Dramani returns with a fresh perspective, garnered from his recent role as Head of Football at the Right to Dream Academy.
