GIS Warns Public of Fake Recruitment Website

Accra, Ghana - 04 June, 2025 - The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has issued a stern warning to the public about a fraudulent recruitment scheme circulating online, particularly on the website http://golernershub.com/ .
The scheme falsely claims to be conducting a protocol recruitment exercise on behalf of the Service.
In a press release dated June 2, 2025, GIS management categorically denied any involvement with the website, emphasizing that it has not authorized any individual, group, or third-party platform to conduct recruitment or sell protocol forms.
The GIS has assured the public that its Intelligence Section, in collaboration with other state security agencies, is actively investigating the fraudulent portal and working to identify and prosecute those behind the scam.
The Service has cautioned the public to be vigilant and report any solicitation or communication from http://golernershub.com/ or similar unofficial sources, warning that anyone who engages with such entities does so at their own risk.
According to the GIS, no official clearance has been given by the Government for any recruitment exercise at this time. When recruitment is duly authorized, it will be advertised through credible channels, including national newspapers and official platforms.
