Cairo, Egypt - 02 May, 2025 - Ghana's Black Satellites drew 1-1 with DR Congo in their opening Group C match at the TotalEnergies CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, leaving the group standings wide open.
The match, played under the floodlights at the New Suez Stadium, saw DR Congo take an early lead through Samuel Ntanda's header in the 16th minute.
However, Ghana quickly responded with Musibau Aziz scoring an equalizer eight minutes later. Despite dominating possession and creating several chances in the second half, Ghana couldn't find a winner.

Ghana's next challenge will be against defending champions Senegal on May 5, a match that promises to be a thrilling encounter between two West African powerhouses.
